WEST COUNTY YOGA
breathe in, breathe out
Hello! My name is Morgan Koblick and I am a high school counselor in Richmond, CA. I teach yoga in a COVID safe, nurturing, inclusive environment. My education includes a Master of Arts in Counseling and a RYT 200 Yoga Teacher certification. I was trained in Costa Rica at Swastha Yoga International, where I studied Yoga through an Ayurvedic lens. "Swastha" means to be firmly rooted and established in oneself, in a state of optimal health on all levels. I was trained by a yoga therapist and my approach is aligned with Vinyasa through a therapeutic lens. By integrating body, breath, movement, and meditative awareness, West County Yoga promotes a positive relationship and interconnectedness within your cognitive, emotional, energetic and physical self. I provide the tools to deepen your self understanding, as you are meaningfully guided on your path to balanced wellbeing.
Morgan has been leading a morning virtual yoga class on Sunday's and they have been exactly what I needed to finish off the week. The way she guides you through the practice and through each pose makes it very easy for someone who hasn't been doing yoga consistently for quite awhile. I have never had the courage to try wheel in a class let alone in a zoom class but for some reason her instructions on how to properly get into the pose was encouraging enough to get me up in my first ever wheel. I work my body so hard during the week and her class is the right amount of using that strength I've built, while stretching the sore muscles to reset the body for the next week. You can tell her intention behind each class is so genuine, which makes it so much more enjoyable to flow with her. Thank you Morgan!
